Videos Auto playing on mobile for articles === no longer reading your articles.. waste of mobile data. This shouldn't be something that needs said on 2018. I know you need to make money, but not videos on mobile.. example is the recruiting awards article

For those using Chrome this helps, It is something built into chorme but turned off, be warned it is experimental but will be a standard feature soon.

This is an article that shares how to turn on site redirect protection inside chrome, works on Android and PC

http://www.droidviews.com/block-those-pesky-redirect-ads-in-google-chrome/
@ChrisMWilliams this works. It blocks all redirects. Have been able to use CF uninterrupted for first time in months. I suggest all having trouble do it. (Short version: enter this in browser chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture

push enabled on first option....and boom no more redirects)

On Safari mobile, I’ve been piling up gift cards pretty consistently for probably 2 or 3 weeks. I really like the latest version of Firefox for the iPhone, though, and have been using that as my primary browser for about the same amount of time. I plan to continue to. I’ve used Safari as my primary iPhone browser for years. I think it was a pretty major update. FF has a cleaner look and feel, and besides Reader has a new Night Mode, which is a lot easier on the eyes, and applies to every website you visit. During this same time period, as I was (and still am) constantly getting kicked out on Safari for iPhone — I didn’t have (and haven’t yet had) the same problem in FF — even once, even though I was using it probably 90 percent of the time.

Brave, a browser developed by one of the original developers of FF, is also pretty good. It blocks ads by default, and has easy to use site specific controls, and is pretty regularly improved upon. I wonder if this competition has anything to do with what appears to be a pretty major, and IMO, successful upgrade for FF.

The NYT and WP iPhone apps have night mode, but not the WSJ app. FF is the first browser I’ve seen with this feature built in.
