C'mon you'all know the Mothership owns UConn so of course the crew is going to be biased. I'm actually going to watch the whole thing again b/c I missed some last nite, but what I did see I honestly didn't notice that much bias. And SportsCenter did highlite it better than I thought they would.

No, I really dont think it was very biased. Just lots of mistakes from a "B-/C+" crew. Not their A team, thats for sure.

Must have had some rookie camera crews...
Producer: "Camera #2, find the guy that just scored the TD"
Cam. Guy #2:"I wasn't paying attention, who scored?"
Producer: " James White, Number 8"
Cam. Guy #2:"For UCONN?"
Producer: "No, you dumb ***, Iowa State just scored."
Cam. Guy #2: "I found a #8 for ISU, but he is not white, he is black..?"
Producer: "..........**Silence**"
Cam. Guy #2:"Hello?"
Producer: "Whatever, just pick one. It's too late anyways."

Actually it would be the technical director making that call and not the producer (Not that it changes your meaning or anything).

The camera work on the zone read was embarassing. Same with the announcers.

C'mon ESPN, it's 2011.

at one point i'm pretty sure they said osemele was the projected number 1 pick for the draft (instead of 1st round)

didn't realize they were closet clone homers

I think they meant he would be someones first pick meaning a first rounder. My hawk friends heard that too, none of them actually have a clue about football and they were like wow the #1 pick overall thats awesome, I just went w/ it.

There's a reason these guys are not on their #1 crew. I would think first and foremost, they don't do their homework. We won, that's really all I care about. The biggest problem now, is these idiots don't know when or how to shut the hell up. They feel they've always got to be yapping. It's easy for them when household names are playing, but when it's ISU vs. UConn, we just don't have household names for them. So, they screw them up. I really don't think it's a matter of any kind of bias. It's just a matter of the guys not knowing enough about us, combined with them not shutting up and wanting to sound like they know everything about us.

Worst for me was when he said literally 6 times "I still don't see how Reeves didn't make that int." Anyone that even looked at a program realizes he is a generous 5' 7" and that's how a 6' 1" WR can catch that and he can't.

There's a reason these guys are not on their #1 crew.

Pretty much what I assume happened. A Friday night slot is going to get the lowest priority. Even a Thursday night game could involve crews up the line a little, because they could still call a Saturday game, because there's better turnaround time.

I'm curious who called the Boise State-Toledo game. I get the feeling there were two units available, and the better one was assigned to that game, because anyone who was watching college football on Friday night was watching that game unless they were ISU or UConn fans.

That's depressing in itself.
