This might be an unusual question but what is everyone CycloneThankful for? Coaches, Players, Past Success, College Memories...

Life is good and even better as a Cyclone.

I'll be CycloneThankful for CycloneFanatic. Wouldn't be able to take care of my Cyclone athletics cravings both in and out of Ames without it.

I'm thankful for the two home wins to finish out the regular football season. I hadn't tasted a victory that sweet since crushing OSU and KSU in 2005.

I am CycloneThankful for Jamie Pollard!

You beat me to it! I'm thankful for JP! And I am thankful to be a Cyclone! I won't even mention the two nearby rival schools that I am thankful NOT to be a lifelong fan of! Oh, what the heck, it's the holidays...

Dear Cy,

I think my family is going to skip the turkey this year. No Turducken either. I think we will have a big, fat, hawk for dinner tomorrow. No sweet potatoes, stuffing, or any of the usual sides either. I think we'll have steaming, yellow ears of corn, husked of course. And for dessert, a nice slice of pumpkin pie. No rival team innuendos there, I just like pumpkin pie. With about a half tub of Cool Whip on top!

I'm not selfish though, and I hope I'm not the only one having a fine feast this weekend. I also hope the Tigers make mincemeat out of the Jayhawks on Saturday.

Amen.

I am cyclonethankful for Bret Meyer and Todd Blythe, because of all the memories they gave me and just the enjoyment of watching them play for 4 years.

I'm thankful for the way Bobby Douglas stepped down and took an interior role in the wrestling team to make way for Cael. That and the first Big 12 championship since '82 was nice as well. Now let's get the NC to return to it's natural home in Ames, Iowa this year boys!

That is one hell of a list! I couldn't have set those priorities better myself. I might have put Brackins a little higher, but I am nit-picking.

I am thankful that I ended up a Cyclone...

Growing up in Bettendorf, I was raised a Hawkeye. When I graduated from High School I made the decision to come to Ames. It was the best decision I have ever made. After my first Cyclone football game day experience at "Cyclone Stadium" I was a Cyclone for life. I guess 2 wins were enough!

We hear a lot about Hawkeye fans becoming Cyclones after coming to school here, does this happen with people that grow up in central Iowa going to school at Iowa just as much? Personally, even those I know that have done so, I can't think of anyone I know that has done that.
