How can I watch ESPN+?

It's super-easy. You can watch ESPN+ using your computer at espn.com/watch.

You can also watch on the ESPN+ app on Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android TV, Fire TV, Fire tablets Xbox, Roku devices, Google Chromecast, PlayStation, Xbox and Oculus Go.

If you have a Chromecast, you can cast ESPN+ from your phone to your TV. If you have an Apple TV, you can AirPlay ESPN+ from your iPhone to your TV.

You'll need to subscribe to ESPN+ first, to get access to awesome live sports like UFC, college football, NHL games, PGA golf and more.
You don’t need Chromecast or Apple TV to cast from phone.

Pretty frustrating to have to cover all one's bases beyond network by multiple subscriptions (ESPN, ESPN+, FS1, CBS Sports, etc etc etc) plus biting off the head of a chicken to catch one measly season. We need one Mega-Conglomerator, and, I know this is a leap, but...what about a Big-12 Network??? If they can send Shatner to space, surely there's a way to have one single ding-danged network.

While some of these posts are laughable, this is a very good example of why streaming sucks for program exposure. There is a large segment of the population that either doesn’t understand it or isn’t willing to pay extra/log in to something to watch a game. You’ll get the die hards and zero casual fans.

A sample size of one is not indicative of “a large segment of the population.”

DirecTV doesn’t have it. Dish doesn’t have it. My YouTubeTV doesn’t have it. BWW can’t show it. Chicken Coop can’t show it. How the F do I watch this lame frickin channel?
I've been pretty content so far with my subscription to cyclone.tv. I like the old fashioned way of listening on "radio" to John and Eric's play by play. Then if the game is not televised in my area (like this Sat.) I will just wait a couple of days (72 hours for football, 48 hours for BB and other sports). I can then watch the replay if I want at my own leisure.

Nothing against folks buying the espn+ package to watch the cyclones at all. For me I'm kind of mini-boycotting espn for their perceived collusion with the SEC.

where I think streaming hurts is getting the casual fan to watch. Watching on espn plus or Amazon or whatever means people are less likely to find our games. We had good numbers on Saturday. There’s no way those numbers would have been as good on streaming.

Does anyone know if any Cyclone games are on Amazon Prime this year? Or is it just all espn+?

I’m so confused. I just watch it on my TV. I’ve even watched it on other people’s TV’s. I’ve watched it multiple time zones on hotel TV’s. I’m so confused.

You have YouTube TV...you'll have the ability to purchase the Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ package. Then, after purchasing it, you can select ESPN+ and find it there amongst the variety of games. After it's over you can cancel the package and you'll only be charged for I believe the 1st month.
I personally am keeping it for awhile because I like some of what Hulu offers.

Love the Clones but will not pay for ESPN+. Will watch whatever else is on and listen to radio broadcast.

What you choose to pay for is a completely different “problem” than overall accessibility of a streaming sports network.

ESPN+ gets third tier broadcast rights for the Big 12. The fact it’s basically November before a section of the fan base even has to think of how to watch a game relegated to third tier rights is in and of itself a sign of good things.

So for those willing to pay a few bucks to watch all Cyclone sports year round (Olympic sports and women’s basketball included), ESPN+ is ridiculously accessible on every smartphone, computer, and modern TV set.

Pollard: "Whats most important going forward is activation"

Fans: "I'm not paying six bucks."

I think our fans think ESPN has a vendetta against Iowa State. No, they just don't think we have fans that are rabid enough and will spend enough to support them like other schools.

It’s one football game and it basketball team deserves to be on ESPN+ with the play. If you can’t figure it out, or if you think one less subscription will stick it to ESPN, the radio is an option. I dont understand the complaining about this.

I bit the bullet and subscribed to ESPN plus since there are so many Iowa state basketball games on the network plus this Saturday’s game against the hillbillies!!

Oklahoma, instead of having a non-conference game on ESPN+, sells pay-per-view subscriptions ($40 I think) for one game per year. From the sounds of it, our fans would practically lose their **** if they had to pay that to watch one game.

To that end, it's going to and is happening with all the other conferences. SEC is going to have games on ESPN+. Big Ten has basketball games only available online. ACC will have stuff only available on ACCNX. Yeah, the Big 12 is the only one with a conference football game being streamed right now, but it's going to happen to the others. The Big 12 was basically the first to play ball on this stuff is all, mainly in the hope of continuing to get paid.
