Wife left on a mission trip for the youth group yesterday. Just saw she ordered some decorative pillows…….. hopefully when they start doing stuff tomorrow she won’t be apparently bored and buying random things.
Well you can have them in place when she gets back:)
She'll appreciate that:)

On the Metra Rock Island line into downtown Chicago to take the Amtrak back home today. Sitting here with my Cubs Wrigleyville shirt amongst sooooooooo many Sauks fans. (My horrible attempt to type a Chicago accent) Luckily, they get off before downtown.

Not exactly sure.
Dog wanted out, only for about two minutes though, thing drives me nuts. I did give it a pass this time though. There was a package on our front step.

Then I could hear the bells at our church. It plays a song through the carillon at 5:30 every day. When the wind is from the south I can hear it at our house. It means a little more because when my mom passed, We anonymously (I don’t think anyone here goes to our church) donated funds to replace the 60 year old one with a new electronic one. So every time I hear the bells, it takes me back a bit.

People still think it’s this big donor at the church that paid for it. I rode to an event with him once along with our pastor and he said he didn’t donate for it and it irritates him that everyone thanks him for it. He doesn’t know it was through us.

I think that would be more appropriate if you were on the Isle of Man.

Change winter to summer here and it’s fits today. Effing Canadians!!

Sorry...
I'm too distracted by that butchering of a beautiful Simon & Garfunkel tune...
Please don't disparage the supremely talented Susanna Hoffs. She is a musical treasure.

The next thing you all will be doing is putting down female Baltic prime ministers.

Oddly enough, I kinda LIKE that one. It's bizarre for sure, but it kept the intention of the song. It wasn't made into a kitschy '80s dance mix. :D
Fam thinks I'm crazy because I am not a Disturbed fan but I really like that take on Sound of Silence. It is a little angrier but the lyrics at that point ARE angry. He calls them fools after all...
