Where was this? I can't see enough of the skyline to guess a city...View attachment 152265
My view before the 4th fireworks. Over somewhere on the hill to my right is a woman dressed (and acting) like Marge Simpson.
Also, to my right is an ISU grad and to my left is an ISU sweatshirt (said go cyclones to me walking up) and I’m not talking about my kids.
I was today years old when I found out.I just found out Ryobi tools are green. Not yellow as I've thought for years
Green.
I don't know what's real anymore
I'm not the better person, I always flip those *ssholes off.Btw, got to the top of hurricane ridge (even climbed the non trail to get another 50 foot higher) and as I’m sitting there looking at the view this guy walks up and yells go hawks at me. I had an ISU windbreaker on. It doesn’t even phase me anymore.
Is that on Mercer Island, looking back toward Seattle?View attachment 152265

Gasworks park.Is that on Mercer Island, looking back toward Seattle?
I watched the fireworks there in 1995. I think that might have been my last visit to Seattle (I lived there in 1991).Gasworks park.
My whole family felt there isn’t much to do in Seattle. A lot around it but a town that is kinda boring.I watched the fireworks there in 1995. I think that might have been my last visit to Seattle (I lived there in 1991).
Pretty sure our kids spent half the time we were at our friends house on the Mississippi in Anoka throwing rocks into the river. Honestly surprised they still have any rocks left on the bank.At the Hoh river in Washington, I was people watching and I realized that kids haven’t changed much since my time. Every young boy that walked by the river would play by throwing/skipping rocks into the river.
Since my parents passed, I haven't had Tico. I miss it. I should probably take a roadtrip.Left Algona, pulled into Fort Dodge at 11:05 so Taco Tico it is
I've seen 4 or 5 Jurassic movies. One of them was bad enough that I was actively hoping the characters would get eaten. The rest were fun movies as long as you didn't think too much. .I enjoyed it, but I didn't get as invested in the characters as I did in the past versions.
Isn't this how that human centipede movie starts...?I thought of thus as I was telling one of the new residents about when to staple vs suture a head lac. When I had just an R1 I knew how to do head lacs pretty well so jumped on the first one that came in trying to show my competency. Had a picture perfect procedure and my attending was saying well done then looked at the stapler I had used and I saw him just drop his jaw.
I had only used 4 staples of a 20 staple single use sterile device and had no idea that there was a smaller one that had 5. According to my attending at the time that was a $250 mistake as that was the cost differential of the two devices and I had to throw the remaining staples in the 20 stapler away.
I ended up just pocketing the device to take home to add to my kit because I was too mortified to throw it away.
How long do you think it will be before they find the body at the bottom of the ridge?Btw, got to the top of hurricane ridge (even climbed the non trail to get another 50 foot higher) and as I’m sitting there looking at the view this guy walks up and yells go hawks at me. I thought maybe from the east side, but the building outlines didn't match that angle. Is that on Mercer Island, looking back toward Seattle?

Did you check out the conservatory as well? Mrs. Velo and I will visit a few times each winter when the winter is getting to be too much. Gives us a taste of summer in the middle of the endless winter night.Good day and a half in Anoka before coming back. We did walk around downtown a little bit and my wife found out about the whole Halloween town thing so at least she may be back up that time of year. I did see the speakeasy as well but we did not go this time. Also took a bit and hit up the Como Park Zoo which was nice.
I hear ya.Was just thinking, I have granddaughters age 6 and 4. They’re too far away at the moment to hug.
