We had a little party on Saturday for father's day/dad's birthday, I brought my lady and introduced her to everyone. Just my parents, sister and BIL, his parents, and my dad's sister. She liked everyone and everyone liked her. I thought for sure I would get interrogated by my sister after, but I haven't heard from her since Saturday.

Went after the magnolia tree stump after a trip to gym armed with my little hosta shovel and a dull axe. This is the tree I killed an Friday and the stump was the last crime scene evidence (with it's telltale saw cuts) of the murder.

The stump put up a good fight and died well. But it it did die. ;)

And here's hoping that you did not.

Good morning!
I have:
Ice downstairs in the fridge.
A shower that doesn't deliver a lame lukewarm mist 16 inches above my head.
A toilet that doesn't sound like a rocket engine (and my feet reach the floor).
A private hot tub out back.
My own bed.
Kitties that purred me to sleep last night
No alarm waking me up 1/2 hour before I have to be out the door and on the go.
The ability to wake up and laze around in my robe, typing on an ergonomic keyboard.

Life is GOOD!

Now that you are home I have a request for you, probably for next year. I've never seen, let alone photographed, fox kits so if you have them around again next spring I'd love to pop down and try to get a photo of them.

Photography acquaintances keep posting kit pics and it's making me somewhat envious.

They are here from April to June when we have them. They are here for several years until the rodent/rabbit population has been decimated. They move to better hunting grounds and let the small prey repopulate for a few years, then they rotate back over here.

When they are here, their appearances are very random. The sliding glass doors on our balcony overlook a grassy area where they like to play, and they frequent that area because it is sheltered from human activity, so when we're in the office we get to see them quite a bit.

We have no problem with you coming down to photograph if we have another litter, but you would likely have to be here several days to actually get some good captures, and you and cats? Ermmmm...
I suppose we could park the RV by the garagemahal and you could see them from that side of the meadow...

Anyhoo...I'll let you know if we get more kits, and we'll figure it out. :D

When I stopped drinking to pop I went to unsweetened iced tea. Several months later I developed kidney stones. Iced tea is massive in uric acid.

Side note, a counter to uric acid is lemonade. So…..follow old Arnie and have his special drink.
Or make it worse again by turning it into a Jon Daly.

Engagement party for my daughter on Saturday. We are having about 40 people over. The pork is smoked and the garage is cleaned but I'm not going to have any idea who half of the people are that show up. I guess that's why they make beer.
I have people in town and a wedding to go to Saturday but I will try to bring a crew over. You'll (maybe) know me and you might have met one or two of my guests at a tailgate. We are happy to drink beer with you.

No need to thank me...

Save some for next weekend for me.

And?

But for reals, a "mist" in a shower with my thick-ish hair would be torture.

Also, when you log into Teams/Outlook at work, and you immediately see a meeting that includes your manager, your supervisor, and then HIS supervisor at 1:30p for fifteen minutes? Yeah, that's not anxiety-inducing at all!

That's the worst part - trying to wash the shampoo out of my hair without getting it in my eyes.

As for height - they have these adjustable height showers now - I can use the same shower as Lew without him ducking or me whining that it's too high!
