How come Manziel gets a pass on two losses, including one where he threw multiple interceptions, but Klein doesn't?

Only 6 more TDs with that many more yards...and Johnny was only there because of his system numbers.Because he produced a lot more than Klein did. 6 more TDs and 1300 more yards. Klein and MT were there only because they were the best player on two good teams. Really weak Heisman race this year.

A joke? The dude averaged almost 300/100.
I just want to see a defensive player win. It's supposed to be an award for the most outstanding player, not the most outstanding offensive player on a good team. Manti Teo carried Notre Dame to an undefeated season against a pretty tough schedule. 7 interceptions for a linebacker in one season is insane, to go along with over 100 tackles. I think the Heisman is a joke until a trut full time defensive player actually wins it. Until then its a stupid popularity contest with voters apparently going with whomever ESPN hypes the most (Johnny football).
It's been that way forever. They should rename it "Best Offensive Skill Position Player for a Team Ranked in the Top 10".
