we need a poll, which would be the scariest:

Earthquake
Tornado
Hurricane
Typhoon

I'd say Typhoon

I have experienced Earthquakes (Northridge quake), Hurricane, and Tornado. Earthquakes are by far the scariest. You don't know they are coming until it's happening. Then you are not quite sure wtf is going on.

Hurricanes you know how powerfull they will be.

Tornado's are not scary because we live in Iowa (Well most of us) so we are semi used to them.

I've been in an earthquake admittedly a small one, and been close to tornadoes but not close enough to be worried. I rode out a tropical storm in Florida and that wasn't fun, I'd hate to see what a full on Hurricane is.

Look no further than the movies. I'm sure this one has a most accurate depiction:

I feel like hurricanes you get a warning to leave, so unless you're on an island, they shouldn't be as bad.

I'd be more scared of a typhoon because I feel like water would be hard to get away from.

Earthquakes would be bad in a city where you have tall buildings. If you're in a single story where you don't have to worry about the floor giving put, I don't know just how bad they'd be.

Tornados typically give you a warning and you can typically find a safe place pretty easily.

So definitely typhoon.

Um, not trying to be a prick, but a typhoon and hurricane are the same thing. Is everyone thinking of a tsunami?

I feel like I'd stick out like a soar thumb but I really need to see them in concert.
They're finishing up their album, finally, so hopefully they'll go on a semi-national tour. I'm going to see A Perfect Circle in May in Omaha. My guess would be the closest TOOL will come is the Twin Cities or Kansas City.

Haven't they been working on this latest album for 10 years. Of course I didn't really buy most of their music until a couple years ago so I haven't waited as long. Maynard is brilliant, I don't know how you create and run what three different bands. I will have to make a vacation trip to a venue.
