Two games I would love to see footage of:
The first is the ISU-UCLA game in the tournament in 2000; Tinsley showcase ("1 on 5, Tinsley's got the advantage"). Second is some game I'm unsure of where Tinsley stops, turns around and backs up above 3 pt line and gets his defender to straighten up and then leaves him like 10 feet in the dust.

Has he ever returned to Ames? Participated in a summer camp? Donated to our program? I seriously don't know, but we did a lot for his success, I would hope he returns the favor.

I hope his son is as gifted as he is and he plays for his father's alma mater. That would be super cool. Favorite quote of Mel's was when he was asked how he would handle the atmosphere at Phog Allen? "It's just another gym." I really didn't feel as though he was trying to be disrespectful, but that was how he saw each game. He did own KU in his two years at ISU though.....great memories there!!
