Any other team nagging injuries besides Ham?

Maybe this is why he did not play as much in second half after doing a lot of playtime in the first half.

Injuries besides the obvious JVB and Boozer...and Dendy(kind of)?

Huh?

I didn't know Ham was "struggling" with anything. He looked pretty healthy to me.

adding: why is this a secret? there's nothing to hide anymore, no one has to play "i know something you don't know" on this.

You're right, anyone should be able to find out what's wrong with anyone! Forget patient confidently! Let all patient records be open!

then don't post here that something is wrong, but I can't tell you.

I also HIGHLY doubt that both kg-cyclone and isuno1fan are his doctors.

You're right again, continue the hate on Iowa State student athletes.

One thing I don't see Ham do like other great finishers is use his body to shield himself from being blocked. There is an art to putting yourself in position to not be blocked. As I watched Georgetown today there guards have a tremendous feel for not getting blocked even though Syracuse is very long. I don't know if this is something that can be taught. It seems to me to be something you can just feel and do. Hopefully he can develop that feel.

excuse me? What the **** are you talking about? I'm not "hating on" anything or anyone. Did you even read my posts?

All I'm saying is that if someone is going to say Ham is hurt and they know what with, they should say what with.

good grief, nice overreaction.

Back on point, I agree with the OP. Between Ham's blocked lay ups and Gilstrap's charging fouls taking away made baskets-they had like 15-20 buckets taken away. That's a lot of points and potential wins

My coach in highschool would bench you if you tried to dunk and missed it. He said layups unless you are super confident that the dunk will work. Maybe Ham had a coach with a similar philosophy. I want Ham to dunk it though, he has the ability.

I'm excited for Ham's future. If he keeps working hard he's going to be a force the next 2 seasons. He's way, way ahead of Jared Homan after 2 years.

Back off Ham...It will be very clear soon what Ham was struggling with and should be respected for it.

So he has been fighting a nagging injury all season, why the heck is that such a secret now that the season is over. Our next game is like 8 months away!

We get it, you have insider info and speaking in riddles on this board makes you feel all big and important. Whatever.

And my high school coach used to ride our center to dunk the ball at every opportunity possible. Of course, he was 6'-11" and we were a 1A school, which meant most of his defenders went about 6'-3" or so. In the 3 years that he played, I think I can count his dunks on one hand. Sad really.

And yet he still got a schollie from Iowa to play ball :biglaugh:
