Very fun night. First time this old guy was on the field after a game.
May be the best game I have witnessed in person at Jack Trice. The atmosphere was so electric, I yelled so hard I nearly lost my voice and stayed up hours after I got home from the game reading all the press on that game.
I've been to many games and forgotten major details of many games. I will never forget every single detail about that night

LSU was undefeated and Alabama's only loss was to No. 1 LSU two weeks prior.
It certainly showed the need for the CFP though, which of course has just led to a less interesting version of college football, haha.
The OSU cheerleaders brought out Weeden for Heisman signs. It cursed him and the game.
And then one of the players (back up QB maybe) kind of started walking out on the field and one of the coaches yanked him by the collar of his shoulder pads back to the sideline.
Mike could very well win the B12 this year. It depends on Spencer Sanders's head. Otherwise, they're pretty solid. I look for them to beat Baylor Saturday. I've always liked Mike. Handsome dude. Conservative. Speaks his mind. And he's no longer a youngster, beyond 40.

I was there and it was a great game. I also will say this...because of the plane crash that killed members of the basketball program. It was said at the time the game may have been played another day. Team was already in Ames. So they played it. So I certainly believe that it had an impact on there players and there coaching staff.
It might have had an impact. But Oklahoma State had a big lead early. It’s not like we jumped on them right away when they were distracted.
