Gremlins: Horror Movie or Christmas Movie?

I know Die Hard and Nightmare Before Christmas have been beaten to death, but what about Gremlins? Do you consider that a Christmas movie or a horror movie? I mean, it happens during Christmas and Gizmo was a Christmas present itself. Discuss.

There is a reboot coming

Everything is being rebooted. And I do mean everything. I was bored today, and took a look at some reboots that are in serious production. Battlestar Galactica is being rebooted -- yes, again! Highlander is being rebooted.

The original Highlander was perfect. The casting was great. The three main battles were masterfully done (parking garage, castle tower, and building rooftop). Every sequel after that has been absolute crap. In the hands of a capable director, that movie remake could have some potential.

Not true. There are loads of ideas, many of which are probably really good. The ones who make the decisions on what gets made and what doesn't just have no balls and focus 110% on what has the best odds of turning a profit. So they do reboots for the nostalgia dollar.
