I saw on Sportscenter that the Brewer's catcher had some trouble throwing the ball to the pitcher last night. Can anyone find the video online?

Jake Taylor: Rube, what's going through your head just before you throw the ball back to the pitcher?
Rube Baker: I'm thinking, "Damn, I don't want to screw this up."
Jake Taylor: Well, what are you thinking when you throw a strike to nail the runner down at second base?
Rube Baker: Well, I, I'm not thinking nothing. I just throw it.
Jake Taylor: You see what I'm getting at?
Rube Baker: You want the pitcher to pitch from second base?
Jake Taylor: [frustrated, blank look] Oooogh.

Only because I couldnt find the one of him reciting the centerfolds likes and dislikes!

Well, as long as he knocks in 5 runs each game (like he did last night), I'm fine if he has to relay his throw back to the pitcher via the second baseman.

Yeah, but going 4-4 with 2 doubles and 5 RBI will make up for simple plays like that.

You have to love how the Pirates are everyone's cure for a bad series. The brewers get swept by the cubs, but come out with a 17-4 pounding of the bucs.

The Brewers have generally had their way with the Bucs over the past few seasons. Here's hoping that our pitching can get straightened out SOON. Wolf & Davis have to be better than what they have shown thus far.

Wolf has given up hits but a 3.70 isn't as bad as what suppan tries to throw. Hopefully davis comes around.

Narveson is going to get the start on wednesday so that should be interesting

I guess that is what I was thinking when I commented on RW needing to improve. You are right, he is a WHOLE LOT better option than Suppan. I hope that Narveson can become a reliable starter for us! As you said, it will be interesting!
