Not one vote for Aerosmith? I realize that they only had one number 1 song, but to hit the charts as high as they did in the 70's, 80', 90's, and 00's should mean something...

Unfortunatly they only had good albums while they were on drugs... anything from the last 20 yrs is crap

That reply is an epic failure!!!
THE BEATLES SUCK ! I just squashed them on my shoe to never return

I can pretty much guarantee that every band you listed (a pretty good list at that), would completely disagree with you.:dull:

You are my hero. All of these plus I'll add one more really important player in early rock n' roll.... Johnny Cash. Read the biography "A Man Called Cash", that guy was freaking crazy.

I'm 22 and love old music too, new music for the most part is horrible except for one bright spot, The Raconteurs. For you guys that like old stuff, try listening to early blues music. Howlin' Wolf, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, BB King. All of these great bands got their inspiration from these guys.

It's pretty obvious who my favorite band is:yes:

Read "Cash" the autobiography. It's great.

The Raconteurs are amazing. Not that I put that much stock in the Grammys, but good to see that they got nominated for a Grammy.....sad to see they got shafted on a Grammy.

First off, the reason critics hated Styx was because they a) suck and b) ripped off the Who hardcore... Greatest rock artists... In no order

Rolling Stones
The Who
Led Zeppelin
Allman Bros
Eric Clapton
Nirvana
GNR
Pearl Jam
The Boss
Bob Dylan
The Band
Beatles
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Hendrix
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Neil Young

Great list. I highlighted my personal faves. I've always felt that the Stones, the Beatles, and Dylan were the "Holy Trinity" of rock music. That said, no band was the rock gods that Zeppelin were.

Best band ever, it is like ear candy. Love the parody thing they do about them on Reno 911.

Dude. Your avatar looks like Patterson Hood (DBT) a little bit. Did you go to the show at Mishiwaka (or whatever its called)?
