If I remember correctly it was Stanzi who lead Iowa down the field to beat then number 2 Penn State. I also believe that Stanzi is in the top 50 in passing efficiency. And what makes Arnaud so great??

Arnaud's drive against UNLV was a hell of alot more dramatic than anything Stanzi did all season. He had to put that team on his back. He picked up 35 yards and got out of bounds zig zagging across the field, and then absolutely drilled Sumrall on the tying TD as time expired. Stanzi had a nice drive against PSU at the end, but Iowa was in position to the win that game because of how the D had played all day long (PI didn't hurt anything either). If you think Stanzi plays QB better than Arnaud either: A) you haven't seen much of Arnaud, B) You're a Hawk homer, C) You're delusional...
He was on a better team last year. That doesn't mean he's a better player. Just because Iowa won a bowl game w/Sedrick Shaw doesn't mean he was better than Troy Davis.

You are calling me delusional you just compared UNLV to Penn State. IMO Iowa State should have never even been behind in that game. Also his stats are not that much better than Ricks. He has more passing yards, 1 more td, and 1 more int. He has also thrown the ball about 150 more times. So I fail to see how Arnot is light years ahead of Stanzi

Not light years, but he's noticeably better. Also, I never compared UNLV to Penn State. I compared a drive lead by Stanzi to a drive compared to Arnaud, but since you're an Iowa fan, we know you didn't actually go there (and probably didn't go to college at all), so I'll forgive your inability to comprehend the English language. If you look at the drives Arnaud and Stanzi lead in those games, and watch the plays they made, its hard to say Stanzi's was more impressive. Iowa's victory was damn impressive, but once again, you have to give more of that credit to Greene and the defense. When you look at Arnaud's stats, keep in mind that he split time for 4 games, and was injured for another 2-3 more. If he was the starter for 10 games, like Stanzi, and healthy all year, his stats would be even higher.

The thing with Stanzi is, he is very accurate but if his #1 target is covered he will force it in there anyways. Some throws you're like, wow great throw. Others leave you utterly speechless as to how that kid got a D1 scholarship, throwing into triple coverage.

I will take Arnaud any day.

I think both are solid qbs, but I think Arnaud is better. No offense to Iowa, but they do play in a run-first conference, which makes it easier for qbs to pass it when teams are more-so expecting the run. Iowa State is the exactly opposite, but the running just wasnt there to help balance out the offense. I think if the running backs show up this year for ISU, I think it will show that Arnaud is the better qb, but Stanzi is still a good qb.

First off I was at the game. (like that matters.) Maybe I need a stupid pic with a doo-rag and a puka shell necklace for proof. Also I am a current student at the U of I. I can also make the same argument for Stanzi because he split time at qb as well. I am saying that a drive vs PSU is a lot harder than a drive vs UNLV.

Because he is saying Stanzi is better qb makes him a troll? He is making an argument for who he supports.

Even if he goes to the in state rivals board people still get pissed and call hawk fans trolls.

Theres already a topic on this subject, go find it there thanks. The title says Bo Williams not Arnaud vs. stanzi

It's pretty subjective, seeing how there's about 5 million variables which play into something so pliable as "a lot harder" football drive.

We haven't seen a full body of work out of either quarterback, so the Arnaud vs Stanzi discussion is entertaining, but futile. One thing I didn't see this year out of either fanbase was fans blaming losses on the quarterback. I'd say that's a step in the right direction for both schools.

Is that doo-rag ridiculous? Yes. It's a football game, and usually my goal is to drape myself in as much C and G as possible. If that makes me look stupid, so be it. It's like face painting. You don't do it because it looks good, you do it because as David Putty would say, "gotta support the team". What do you wear to games? Popped collars?

I also acknowledged that Stanzi split time. He split less of it, and he wasn't injured either.

You were at the ISU/UNLV game? Why?

Oh, I found your sig pic...
