I think people should also keep in mind when evaluating Prohm that the level of play that we now expect wasn't even a possibility (at least in my mind) at the beginning of the season. I was expecting an NCAA tournament bid, but probably only a 7 or 8 seed. Instead, we're looking to possibly go from worst to first in the Big 12, and hoping for a top four NCAA tournament seed.
Prohm did a great job recruiting and putting together the roster with talented players. But he's done an even better job getting talented players to fill roles and young players with talent to reach their potential early on. That's probably an even more important part of being a coach than what a coach does in game.
