I really enjoyed the scoreboard operator cutting back to gangnam style during the game and watching the band. Lot of fun. Why not play this between 3rd and 4th to get the crowd amped. Play Sweet Caroline after a win,.

don't change a tradition. Gangnam style will fade.

I don't enjoy normally enjoy the song. But I thought the cut out and cut back was hilarious. As for between 3rd and 4th regularly... no... the song won't last that long, and it is annoying to begin with.

I'm fine with it following SC like it did Sat. night. Bringing it back between plays when Baylor was on offense was genius. Love that song.

Only 2 weeks left this season-doubt it fades that quickly.

Gangam style isn't worth that end of 3rd quarter break. It's a fad song, which is fun for the moment but won't last. I'm ok with Sweet Caroline when we are winning, and especially when we are up by 2 or 3 TDs like Saturday.

Living on a Prayer is a much worse song to play when we are losing that Sweet Caroline is when we are winning, if that makes sense. We need a more intense song to play if we can't play Sweet Caroline due to being ahead.

I hope this (GS) becomes a "timeout" song in bball this year. First we had zombie nation then Sandstorm last year we had LMFAO

Which is why the entire student section participates in it more than anything else the entire game.

Tell me which song the student section doesn't participate in? To me they are more interested in getting the folks in the other decks into it. Maybe it is just my own feelings but a song about an old guy touching an 11 year old girl doesn't belong as a song to amp crowds before the 4th quarter.

Stayed at my friend's apt. in Urbandale after the game, about 1:30 in the morning we just start hearing this song blasting in the parking lot. Turns out it was actually the apt. across the lot and they forgot they left their patio door open until about the 4th straight playing of the song. Between tailgate, the game, and his neighbors I probably heard that song 20 times on Saturday.

There is literally no other song played over the loudspeaker that students all get into as much. I'd say 90-95% of the students do Sweet Caroline. Maybe 40% do Jump Around. Maybe 50% do the Cha Cha Slide.

Almost nobody does anything for Living on a Prayer. Not many at all even jump up and down for Zombie Nation, although I think a lot chant along with it.

That is my breakdown, just going from the past 4 seasons.

And Sweet Caroline gets fringe fans excited about participating in the game and it's something even they look forward to, which almost no other song does. Screaming Thunderstruck at some girl who doesn't know the difference between a first down and a touchdown isn't going to get her to participate in anything or be interested. The fans who know what's going on will participate regardless.

Sweet Caroline should only be played after we win.

Sweet caroline is such a bad and inappropriate song my wife makes me go get food between those quarters so i dont explode. Its a gross subject matter, it has no football or sport theme, and just because people know it doesnt mean its a good choice. Hell, Party in the usa by miley cyrus would be a better choice.

Sweet Caroline should never be played between 3and 4th. Playing after a win is fine-even though it sucks and is for the old folks.

As a student, I thoroughly enjoy Sweet Caroline, and Im guessing most of the thousands of students around me at games enjoy it too. Although, it is much sweeter after a win.
