What would be the appetite here for 6" or 1ft square sections?
Is $30 for a 6" square section or $50 for a 1' square section reasonable?

They could charge more and I bet they would be sold out in 10 minutes. What would be the appetite here for 6" or 1ft square sections?

I don't want a small piece. I'd easily pay $200 for a 2x2 and maybe $300 for a notable painted piece. What would be the appetite here for 6" or 1ft square sections?

That floor has probably been sanded and refinished multiple times. Think of how many times those sections have been picked up and put down, that alone is a lot of wear and tear.

And you can only sand these floors a limited number of times before you start getting too close to the tongue and groove and you start having problems. There are many reasons these floors are at a discount. That floor has probably been sanded and refinished multiple times. That’s pretty freakin awesomeMy wife bought me a 1 ft square of the floor that got flooded in 2009. It has a sticker that showed the location and talked about Hilton Magic.
Without the signatures I'm pretty sure she paid right at $100.

$3/ft is pretty good for hardwood floors. But i don't need 8,000 square feet.

Website says it gets redone every summer
I disagree. This last look was our best looking floor since the original Hilton floor. I don't want 3 shades of wood and the outline of the Ames skyline or the Barilla plant on the floor. I don't even want that crap ass Pioneer logo on our floor but I understand why we have it. Simple is better. On a side note, I think it'd be cool if they came up with some creative floor design for next year.
