All false. His brother said he has not committed yet and that he is still weighing his (SEC) options. :spinny:His twitter page sure looks like he plans to come here. https://twitter.com/Tycat72
That's some chizzy stuff right there! I know, my line about being cheesy spelled chizzy is just as chizzy, I mean, cheesy!:skeptical:
Yeah, the word cheesy came to my mind immediately.
Honestly on #3, I'm gonna say Georgia or Auburn have us beat on every count (OL coach, talent, conference). And everyone thinks they'll start wherever they go. If Auburn and Georgia didn't think he could play Day 1, they wouldn't want a grad transfer. My thoughts on this Cat are: 1. I want someone in the program who WANTS to be at ISU, not because "oh I guess I'll go there." 2. His brother must be his agent or something because I have never seen someone so involved in their brothers recruitment before and 3. Why would he not want to come to ISU...we have the nations best OLine coach, we'll arguably put out the most talent on the field that this program has had in a while, and you'll have a chance to start from day 1 in one of the nations best conferences. Would you rather be a big fish in a little pond (start at ISU), or a little fish in a big pond (ride pine at a "bigger school" with better olinemen)?

Look at Auburn's OL, they're returning everyone. He would be brought in at Georgia or Auburn to provide depth

As CMC basically alluded to in his signing day press conference, we're going to find out if Tyler Catalina knows what the word "commitment" means and if he's the kind of person that lives up to their "commitments".
Iowa State went out on a limb and offered Tyler what he was looking for... a chance to prove himself for one year at a P5 football program to improve his chances of making the NFL. He "committed" to CMC and Iowa State and even signed a student aid agreement.
The ball is in his court. We'll see what happens?
There is no way Tyler will be a Cyclone, not with all the SEC offers he has now.
