I reviewed his bro's twitter...i'm with ya.....if I'm Campbell, I call him today and say, "listen, are you in or not? I don't need this drama." and move on. I know it sounds harsh, but I'd want the focus to be on the young men who chose us and the team you are building.

Campbell's job is to win. You win by getting the best players to come here. I don't think this would be a good way of going about that. We can't give kids ultimatum's when Florida, Auburn, Georgia's of the world come calling.

This smells like the Wesley Johnson situation 10 years ago. Brother saw talent and is getting greedy trying to funnel him to blue blood programs for more exposure.

This was tweeted by Tyler's brother in response to the ISU tweet above. Tyler retweeted this message from his brother Tony.

His brother is a total d-bag. Tyler is not going to be a Cyclone, trust me. He is gonna end up in the SEC.

I get it...and Campbell shared in his presser his job is to continue to recruit.

Maybe I should restate it...if we get him here....there would be a quick reminder of everyone starting at ground zero :)

I would honestly be OK with him moving on if this is the way his brother is going to be involved. If he does come here, I can just imagine his bro being in his ear feeding him crazy ideas/thoughts.

When he signs a fin aid package with another school, then worry. Until then, relax.

Even then it isn't uncommon for them to sign multiples which makes it em really wierd because them multiple coaches can claim them and talk about them. The positive is once signed we can call him unrestricted iirc. Others still have to follow rules. The thing that sucks is he counts as one of our 25 initial counters for this class. Meaning we can't either A use it on someone else or roll to next year if.he doesn't use it.

I'd like to see Tyler in cardinal and gold. New staff, new team, new attitude. This is the NEW Cyclone football and I'm pumped to see it come together. Tyler would make an impact on this team and can be a part of building something special. Go Cyclones!

I believe B12 rules won't allow him to sign with another member institution since he's signed financial papers with us. He is free to go to any other school in the NCAA though. At least, that's how I've seen it reported over and over again.
He has signed with us. There just is no penalty for other institutions or him if he breaks that agreement. Except in the big 12.

That is the worst publication in America. From false rumors about affairs to this crap it is just horrible tabloid crap.

While I don't disagree with you about the site in general, there is nothing "false rumored" or "tabloid crap" in that particular article.

My thoughts on this Cat are: 1. I want someone in the program who WANTS to be at ISU, not because "oh I guess I'll go there." 2. His brother must be his agent or something because I have never seen someone so involved in their brothers recruitment before and 3. Why would he not want to come to ISU...we have the nations best OLine coach, we'll arguably put out the most talent on the field that this program has had in a while, and you'll have a chance to start from day 1 in one of the nations best conferences. Would you rather be a big fish in a little pond (start at ISU), or a little fish in a big pond (ride pine at a "bigger school" with better olinemen)?
