All of the BBQ places would be really good- Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is really close to the area you are staying. I would recommend them for anything seafood!
The wife and I are going to Dallas next month for UFC 171 and staying with a buddy of mine..He informed me there's a Whataburger on his block!

Yes, you must go to Babb's. Go to the patio in back and report on whether they still have the Iowa State sign up.
And try to sausage. I've never had sausage I liked more.
