FAWcast: A different take on Iowa State/Texas Tech

We're 3-9, 2-10, and are looking at 4-8 by even the more optimistic predictions for this year. What exactly has there been to be enthusiastic about?
Lifelong fan. Born and raised in Ames, but I don't accept sucking.
Was high on the basketball team last year. Went to all three games at the Big 12 tourney.
Graduated from Iowa State as well so my loyalties are clear.
But, I am not the fan that will ever just accept mediocrity. There are already plenty of Kool-aid drinkers on here that think we can beat Baylor and TCU.
You can be a fan and also be realistic. Iowa State is improved this year for sure, but they are still not good.
Not a fan of Rhoads for MANY reasons. He needs to go. Not the right coach to get us to respectability.
Improvement. Recruiting. Assistant coaches sent from heaven.
Embrace losing because the B12 is tougher than it was in the McCarney years. And it is tougher than the B10.
Use to agree with this, FAWcast was nice listen, recently, waste of time with Chatter commentary, I am no where close to a kook-aide, if we get 2-3 wins total we. See a change and new coach, am I sick of his antics, yeah, but also like him as I don't feel we will get much better. My problem is when part of the fan-base cashes in on a team that is much improved and shown progress and is a couple of plays from being undefeated. Which would make the tone now so different. I have been a loyal listener for a while now, just don't understand why any one advertising themselves would want their name on this garbage talk.....

Apparently saying the Cyclones stink is "garbage talk". Meanwhile, Gray swears on every episode and takes no heat.
Where are you going with this??? I am not taking that angle at all, the 'garbage talk' is how you never seem to research anything when you add you negative commentary, Blum's article added good statistical value and gave me a positive view toward this week, you just have your own angle toward this program, which is anti-CPR and because you are tired of him. You don't take into affect the negative vision that this gets when you use the words 'terrible' and 'sucks' while describing the program with no value to back it, I am a true fan to this team and will not give up on them until the last snap this year..... This makes me question your motive behind any of this, I use to listen to this podcast for a funny angle and entertainment value. That is no longer worth my time.....
Mark seemed alright (don't watch these usually), but I lost all respect when he mentioned that he was going to T Swift. No respect bro. Taylor Swift is a ******* ***** and I hate her with every ounce of my body.
These types of comments always give me a chuckle. I know you can refuse to donate or buy season tickets, but the ego it requires to think your expectations have a significant effect on the success of an NCAA program is laughable.
Also, haven't seen anyone outside of Rusty predicting a win against TCU or Baylor.
Are all of you guys new to the FAWcast? Charter always says he's the voice of the fan. There are a lotttttttt of unhappy fans these days. You can call it negative, but Charter originally predicted 4 wins at the start of the season. 4-8 looks pretty realistic right now. So while Charter might tend to be negative, he doesn't just rag on the Clones.
Mark, you are awesome. Whether I agree with you or not about the football team, you are fun to listen to. (And right now, I agree with you).
