Here is a great movie that hasn't been mentioned. "Everybody's All-American". It's set in the late 50's or early 60's and is about a tailback for LSU and then he goes on to the pros, I think the Lions. One of my favorite sports movies period and easily my favorite football movie! I suggest getting this, you won't be disappointed.

On a separate topic relating to sports movies, I appeared in the move "Winning" in 1969 starring Paul Newman!! I wish I could leave it at that and pretend to be a movie star but the truth is that a couple of my cousins and I got paid to sit in the turn one grandstand at Indy for about three hours and we cheered when they told us to.

Ok, this thread has probably been started a thousand times, but not since I've been reading CF...

I personally choose "Rudy"-- Im sure most of yall have seen it, if not well.. go watch it now.

A very close second would be "Perfect Effort"-- I bet very few of you have seen this movie. It is a really great story. It doccuments the De La Salle highschool football team... anyway there are trailors on YouTube that I highly reccomend you guys check out! (This movie was the reason I created this thread)

Any football movies or even other sports movies can be listed.. give a reason why you think its great!

Best of Times with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell as Reno Hightower I believe

1. remember the titans
2. friday night lights
3. other movies that have been listed and i've seen aren't in the same class as these two, although some of them are good movies, they aren't good because of the football parts of the movies which is what this is about right?
