I've heard it's an hour and half of lecture and a half hour of drinking, and a few days we go to the bars to try beer

and seeing as one of the requirements is you must be 21 i'm assuming everyones of legal age :jimlad:

Had a buddy take it last semester.

The tests are hard as hell

That's wishful thinking. Check out the syllabus from spring. http://sn.im/o5f1r And it's not called wine tasting.
Good luck anyway.

Does Duckworth still teach Stat 326? Man was he boring and he was one of the authors of the book that we used. The lab we had, don't know if they still have that, was the best part of the class because you didn't have to listen to him

I accidentally logged in (trying to break the habit) and read this post. All I will say is that if you have problems doing homework and/or you find math to be difficult, I probably wouldn't get an accounting degree.

If you want to get paid, you'll probably put in 60 hour weeks and do a bunch of math.

Trust me, I'm working to be Actuary and work with tons of Accountants.

Peace!

There is so much more to accounting than just crunching numbers. If you work in the insurance industry then certainly you will need to be good at statistical modeling and calculus but a path in public accounting, or with a private company, will not present you with a lot of these issues.

I know plenty of accountants that were not successful at stat in college and are doing quite well with where they are at.

Not too much fun.

442 and 448 are the circuits classes for MEs aren't they?

Those aren't hard at all. Just remember, in an AC world i=j

Fin 310, Fin 320, Mgmt 370, Mkt 340, OSCM 320. It is going to seem like i'm living in Gerdin.

And for people that want an easy elective, take Anthro 201 with Arndt. Did not spend one minute studying for his final and got a 71/75 on it. very very easy.

Math 151 = easy...all those others I have no clue. Have Kramer, his old tests are basically the exact same as the new ones, only with different numbers. And the tests are short, usually 5 to 8 questions.

I'll be taking my first marketing classes of my college career. Mkt 340, Mgmt 370, Acct 285, Phil 230, and im gunna pick up an elective. don't know yet.

Anyone have some advise on an easy U.S. Diversity, Social Science, or Humanities credit that I could take???

Agreed, math 151 was easy. I took sign language as a social science class-it was easy...if I am saying that then it was really easy.

What the hell is that?

I have no idea about Hobson, but Geirrson's class was really, really easy. He gave you the exam questions ahead of time.

I've got Folger on MW from 3:40-5. I know two people who read the book and stuff and still failed the class.

Hard, maybe not, but they were a pain in the ***. Also, when/did you take them, because the prof they had teaching it a year ago, and I believe still is, did not really make an effort to make the electrical world make sense to mechanically minded students.
