He'll spin anything that's in reality bad for the PAC into some delusional fantasy.

USC/UCLA to the B1G is actually great for the PAC's long term stability I suppose, SMH...

Wonder when the PAC commissioner pulls him aside and tells him that he's doing more harm by getting expectations up. Once their contract is announced and not what Mandel has suggested, people are going to be upset. It doesn't matter if it's better than they deserve, they'll just see it is less than they've been told it would be.

I'll be surprised if it isn't really close to ours. Give or take a couple million. PAC's issue will be getting a GOR signed to support it.

An offer could be close overall but would they have an even distribution? Could the GOR be a stumbling block? Oregon was reportedly not for a long grant.

The PAC isn't dead, but they have more moving pieces.

The Big 12 was formed by fire. The league is full of schools in lockstep

Then you add the expected 15M increase for the playoff expansion, puts it at 65M.

$15m per team seems high. That's over $1B per year for 11 games. And that'd be a $1B increase over the current playoffs and NY6 games that'll go away.

That is what everyone has been predicting. It is what they are using as a number when they show the huge B1G numbers and SEC numbers. They show 15M expected increase from the playoff, to get them to that 100m number.

This isnt my made up number this is what everyone out there is using for calculations of future values, once the new playoff numbers take effect.

No hes not. This is about a 9.6M per year increase for us as we sit. We got 41.2M last year. Add the 9.6M to 41.2 = 50.8M, Before any increase to Playoff money.
I've tried to see if this is clarified anywhere but can't find it. I tend to be on the side that it does not include it, since we still are not 100% sure what the expanded playoff is going to be
