First would like to say no one picked isu, however i found two things interesting from this link. First what is up with Gonzaga being in people's final 4, sure they're decent but final 4? Second miles simon list fred hoiberg as his national coach of the year.

Gonzaga is a legit FF contender.
-They return 5 of their top 7 from a year ago, including Pangos and Bell Jr.
-They add:
USC transfer and Kane-like guard in Bryon Wesley (18 and 6.4 last year at USC)
Eric McClellan who averaged 14 ppg at Vandy in his 12 games a year ago
Kyle Wiltjer who was the SEC 6th man of the year in 2012-13 while at UK
Domantas Sabonis, a pretty good Euro-recruit and the son of Arvydas Sabonis

Oh man, I irrationally loved Sabonis and his old-man-with-no-knees-left game when I was a kid.

Is Wesley eligible to play this year if he transferred from USC or is this moving closer to home case? Like to keep track of all wesleys, bots or not.

I'm all for the pre season Gonzaga hype-train. But come tournament time I will pick them to get bounced in the Sweet 16 or sooner.. They always flop come March when they have to face teams with talent rather than the religious west coast schools. My brackets have been burned too many times by them..

I have Gonzaga as a top 10 team right now. They are legit.

Gonzaga may be legit and deserving of top 10 consideration, but the whole "Final Four thing" is a perpetual overrate. While ISU has not done anything historically to deserve Final Four consideration, Gonzaga annually comes short of expectations which, while the talent is there, makes you wonder why they deserve Final Four predictions.

Not this year and when was the last time Gonzaga was showing up on preseason FF's?

I see SDST listed in one final 4. That is a MUCH larger head scratcher compared to Gonzaga IMO

You should have seen him in his day. I have no doubt that if the politics would have been different the man could have had multiple NBA titles on an otherwise decent team.

Oh no doubt, it's a basketball tragedy he wasn't able to come to the U.S. sooner.

Sounds very familiar.
