Do many of you post on the hawk site?

Not only do I not post at a hawk site I don’t read anything related to the Hawks even if it’s free. I don’t watch them on TV or listen to them on the radio. Perhaps I should but I have zero interest in them. My garbage man likes them, he has a tiger hawk sticker on his truck; he’s likely a graduate; not that there is anything wrong with that.

it's a free country, i don't really care. i find it rather entertaining most of the time. i do view one of their sites a couple times a week, esp if i need a good laugh. i have posted a few times, only to correct their posts about ISU. funny how some of their ISU facts are further from the truth; and of course it's always to make them look better.
I come to this site when I need a good laugh. The paranoia and childish attacks are hilarious. Some people take this stuff and themselves way to serious.

I don't feel the urge to post on Hawkeye sites. I don't think I want to cause them more strife during a trying time nor elevate their ecstasy during a successful time.

I don't feel the need to hang around and be a constant irritant on a board where I am most patently not welcome. I have no agenda and don't post inflammatory messages on their boards - even if it is in the form of a question or a passive sentiment meant to invoke their passionate responses.

This board has tolerated several gutter-dwelling posters who wear their Hawkeye colors on their sleeve and have ulterior motives. They post in hazy superlatives and jaded references to avoid moderators. Their mission is clear - to slap Jeremy in the face for running a successful fan site of a team they do not support - but are obsessed with.

The Chizik Situation was real eye-opener. The Hawk people that post here in a shy, sly, and seemingly unobtrusive manner are the same type of people who go to Auburn boards and make hateful, obscinity-laced posts about ISU's situation and its impact on Auburn.

The Hawk people that post here (outside of rivalry chat when appropriate) are the same people that posted inflamatory, poor-taste posts about Stevie Hicks on Rivals and fan the flames of our opponents.

Staying off of a rival teams' boards during weeks there is no direct competition can be considered a healthy decision. There's only so much internet that you can be a part of that can be considered in good taste.

I have like 2000 posts on the Scout site, but I root for the hawks as well.

But I used to post on message boards all over the internet when I worked at my last job because I had a lot of free time.

Long time lurker to this site, just signed up finally. Why would I want to be on a Hawk site? Posting on a Hawkeye site would be like sex in the back of a Volkswagon, just uncomfortable.

I post on an Iowa website.

I'd ******* hope so...

I only poke around there the week before the football game, as I usually do with most of our opponents. There isn't a point in posting there, unless you're just trying to get them riled up. That can be fun for a minute, but the novelty wears off. I've noticed it's hard to get a legitimate discussion with them, so it's a complete waste of time...
