I'm in Des Moines and have Choice Extra. I get none of the FSN channels. Channel 665 is Comcast Chicago which was showing the A&M - SMU game the other night which was a FSN broadcast. Right now the channel guide for 11:00 Saturday morning has Cubs pregame for channel 665. Channel 666 is an alternate Comcast Chicago station and 11:00 Saturday currently says to be announced. I guess I'm going to wait until Saturday morning and see if it shows up on 666. If not I'll subscribe to the Sportspack to get the FSN channels. How long does it typically take once you click on the subcribe to sportspack link on the Direct TV web site until it becomes available to watch? I've heard it only takes a few minutes.

It's usually only a couple minutes. I've had to do the same thing in the past when ISU was on FCS.

Whoops nevermind guys. Looked at the time. 665 is reairing it at 1:30 AM sunday morning. I think I plan on watching the game on 642.

Since the cubs are playing on the only FSN channel ... watch the game on one of the other FSN channels.

What channel on DirecTV is the Iowa St / Iowa game going to be on this weekend? I am unable to search for it, thanks.

You have to have the sports package, the game will be on channels 630,635,642,649,654,660,661,663,668,671, 676, 683, 686, 687, 692, 696, 659.

Direct TV is showing the game I beleive if you dont have the sports package on Sunday at 1:00am on 665.

Unfortunately, this question isn't about what channels I get. I know what channels I get. It's about the game being televised on an alternate channel. It would be on 665 if the Cubs game wasn't being televised there. The question is will it be televised on the alternate channel, 666.

I'll get the sports package if I have to. I'm just looking for a definite answer on whether directv will be showing the game on 666. Apparently, no one knows. I don't see how asking about station information in any way relates to someone's "fandom". If you don't like answering people's questions, don't answer. No reason to be impolite.

Nobody here would know. We all get the same guide channel. Call DirecTV. These incessant "what channel is the game on?" posts are maddening. Figure it out for yourself.

I've contacted directv, but they're slow in responding.

I did just find this link which says the game will be on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago PLUS which is 666. I'm just not sure on the reliability of the information.
