What channel on DirecTV is the Iowa St / Iowa game going to be on this weekend? I am unable to search for it, thanks.

You are wrong. Its on FSN.I thought it was on the Big Ten Network. Is that wrong?
Alot of channels. I've heard almost every channel between 625-666.
Do you need the sports package to watch the game?
You shouldn't need the sports pack if it is on your "local" FSN chanel.
It should be on just about all of them. Its the primary matchup for the week. I don't know what games would conflict with it though if you are are in tx or something.
However, I see there there may be a conflict with cubs mets in chicago.
If you get north, florida, East, Ohio, indiana, Detroit, Oregon, MW, Southwest, Arizona, West
All should get the game. You almost certainly have one of those. If you are right in the Chicago market, or NY market, I'm not sure how that plays out, but more than likely if you are outside of those 2 you get multiple FSN's and will have one of the others.
Still no clear answer on whether or not I'll be able to watch from home without the sports pack?
Since the cubs are playing on the only FSN channel I receive and the game doesn't show up on 666 which is supposed to be the alternate FSN channel, I'm assuming I'll need to acquire the sports pack to watch the game on one of the other FSN channels.
My DirecTV schedule shows channel 671 @ 11 am Saturday playing Iowa @ Iowa State. No sports package FSN midwest is included with all packages.
P.S. if you live in Ames, you should be there![]()
FSN midwest is not included in all packages. Why would I go to the Iowa game when I can make it to three other games for the same price? Plus, the game is a "sellout".
Well I have Choice extra and it's included. If you go to the link I provided above you will find the four packages they offer. If you scroll down to "F" under standard channels, you will find FSN midwest offered on all four with several other FSN channels offered for "Choice Premier". If you don't get it maybe you should be calling DTV about not getting a channel that you are paying for.
I will answer you're question with a question. Why would you pay $100 for three games when you could pay $150 for all six home games?
25 years later and living 10 miles from Ames - I can't watch it at all.
I have Choice extra as well which only comes with your "local" FSN affiliate which is CSN.
Because of family obligations, I can't make it to more than 3 or at most 4 games a year.
Edit: I think you need to take a look at your link again. FSN Midwest is only available to people in our area if you have the Premier package or if you have the sports pack.
