We are all experts on this site so we all know who it will be. :yes:Why not name himself D-coordinator? It has proven successful on the other side of the ball. The team doesn't have much to lose.

Dammit, everytime someone brings it up here, it's delayed another 3 days. It looks like we are looking at 7/15/2010 before one can be named now. Way to go.:jimlad:

Is that a Friday? Don't forget, it has to be announced on a Friday so that it makes the front page in the Sunday paper. At least that has been the story every week when it wasn't announced Monday through Thursday.

Totally agree. He is not going to be able to hire someone more qualified than he is.

I would prefer Rhoads leading the D with an under the radar guy who has potential learning from him. But that's just me.

I'm available and a cheaper option since the budget is a little tight.

I am pretty good on the PS3 with College football, I usually rank in the top 2/3 in the nation in total defense. i think the fans would like my blitz'ing style, my goal is for the defense to score points - similiar to what you see with the Baltimore Ravens.

My recruiting style would be similiar to what you saw in Blue Chips. I am all about bringing in the best talent and putting W's on the board. So if you are willing to accept a coach that massages a rule or two with recruiting for Wins, I am your man.

If you'll work for free beer and pizza, I think they have found their man.

more of a scotch fan.

I WILL work for beer, and coincidentally I share your coaching and recruiting philosophy. I will work for Flying Burrito and Busch Light (much cheaper than pizza and scotch), as long as they let me tailgate before the game. When it comes to my defensive playcalling, well, I'm better when I'm drunk.

Drinking in the coaches box should be ok. That way by halftime you have a nice buzz going and become more creative in the second half. Halftime adjustments is were chizdik fell short.

If things keep going the way they have been, I think drinking in the box will be mandatory

I'm sure it's ok, Pauly just told me on the phone. Boys, you're looking at the new ISU dc right here! They didn't go for the Flying Burrito and Busch Light, but I took Old Mill and Pizza Pit (they get a discount there) and I get to tailgate, as well as drink in the booth. I played CPR in NCAA '09 and he loved my "blitz-out-of-the-nickel-every-play" strategy. I'll bring the heat and leave a safety net over the top. Unbeatable. Plus, I'm saving the university a ton of $, so now Bobcats is making his donation and the South Endzone will be open in time for Spring Game.

Oh yeah, :jimlad:
