Iowa State’s recent success with transfers played a role in the decision too.
“They’ve had seven transfers in three years. All of them have been successful,” said Kane. “They can handle them. Royce White was drafted in the first round as a transfer and Will Clyburn is getting a good opportunity along with the rest of those guys.”
Earlier this month in CFs conversation with Matt Abdelmassih, when asked, Abdelmassih said without a doubt that people around the country know that transfers are ISU's thing. Can't argue with that assertion now! I guess one of those people he must have been talking about was DeAndre Kane. Great interview btw, Chris, couldn't have timed it much better!
Feeling much better about the point guard position.
It's a state school; faculty's family members don't go for free.
plus Matt Thomas just got more open...he'll have to adjust to many aspects of Big 12 ball but he's not going to forget how to shoot.

I'm going out on a limb and saying he will take "Bubus" scholarship that was never his and he was just using it instead of it going to waste or us settling for a lesser player.
Are you sure? Josh Oglesby did.
Oh snap!
we'll still lose someone even if bubu takes the scholly. 16 total on the cyclones.com roster if you add Kane.
