Cyclones stay at #15 in the coaches poll.

Its nice to stay put after the stinker against TT, Banked enough respect and earned it, but I was hoping enough teams around us were laying bigger stinkers that we coulda moved up after texas and some speculation of what should have happened if JM had his headKniee right all year. But I'll take it.

Hope the ship is righted and the guys can finish strong. This team deserves to finish in the top 10 or better, but they got some work to do after our standard febuary flail.

There's so little arguing about RPI vs AP vs Coaches vs Kenpom...because we're 15 in pretty much every single one. It's really quite rare.

We've been a little lower in Sagarin all year but since conference started our human polling, RPI and Kenpom have never really been that disparate.

I'd say anything resembling steady in a turbulent season for ranked teams is fine.
I think we can earn our way back up a little higher, like possibly up to #10, but it's an uphill grind at this point in this conference. We all still have our hits to take.

If we get to #10 in human polling (which means we'd pretty much have to stay unbeaten for a few weeks) I'm guessing we're top 5 in RPI. Big 12 RPI will get a boost when none of our 6-7 NCAA teams play a bad team in conference tournament play and the best teams from other leagues generally start with a sub 100 team.

Game against Baylor tomorrow will tell us a lot regarding rest of season. With a solid win against the Bears I think our confidence would be up enough to run the gamut.

I'm glad Texas stayed in at 24 in AP. They lost twice but both on the road and both to top 15 teams. Also Baylor hanging on at 25, so another shot at a good RPI boost coming up Tuesday.

2 wins this week would be huge! If we could somehow go 4-1 with our next 5 games (with only KU remaining), I image we would have a great shot at cracking the top 10. Would solidify a 4 seed, and make a great case for 3 seed.

Let's go Cyclones! Start with a W at Baylor!

I think 4-1 would get us a 3 seed for sure.
