Hes one of the top 15 players in the league. Clearly he needs to score more and be more consistent to be a 1st or 2nd team all-NBA. If you want him getting more credit you can't take every other game off from playing like a superstar. Did you know SGA went to high school with Brock Purdy? Gotta think Brock is probably rooting for his high school classmate in this one.
Sorry for giving you a hard time, 12 deep and just always cheering for Cyclones.

I admire your loyalty. Once they leave Ames they pretty much leave my mind honestly. I appreciate everything they do while in town but I'm not giving them a lifetime of fandom. Just me though. I dont really have a favorite NBA team but I kind of root for OKC. I have since they moved there I lived there briefly a few years before they got to town, still have friends there, and like seeing a team from a metro of 1.5 million win. Actually I root for the Pacers in the East for a lot of the same reasons except I've never lived near there. I just think they're a gritty franchise.

And gets tougher when they have to add another conference game.
You almost had me there. Still only 8 SEC conference games per team for '25. The talk is that it might go to 9 games in 2026, but I'll believe it when I see it. Haha SEC.

They say they will only do it for more money. Good gad, man! Aren't they getting that now?

I hadn't watched the NBA since the 90's and now I bought a Cers shirt. Cyclones in the NBA/NFL gives us funding.

It certainly doesn't hurt funding. Dont get me wrong I root for our guys to get drafted, hope they do well but I'm just not automatically following their teams. I root for ISU, Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC. Other than that I dont have any real "that's my team" type of interest. Im kind of a sucker for the small markets teams honestly. I was hoping Edmonton would win the Cup. If I didn't despise St. Louis in general I'd probably be a Blues fan.

Well I can say you are a true fan cheering for 3 teams from the same city.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but SGA and Purdy did not go to high school together. SGA went to St Tomas More before transferring to Hamilton Heights. Purdy went to Perry.

If that was the case we'd have tons of NFL qbs. We have one. Your bias is totally showing. We have 1 ******* guy ever basically. Me thinks it's Brock Purdy and not ISU or Matt Campbell. We must have made a grave mistake getting rid of Tom Manning then. I mean Mack Jones was a first round pick despite only having 17 starts ffs and Purdy barely got drafted. I dont give a **** that Jones sucks. Right there tells you that just playing for Bama will give you a better chance to play in the NFL. We've had 1 guy ever make something out of himself at the position in the entire history of the school. How do you attribute that to ISU being such a producer of NFL QBs?

Iowa State is certainly not Quarterback University, but we've had 5 quarterbacks play in the NFL. Actually, 6 if you count George Admunson who ended up an NFL running back.
