Cedar Rapids First Cyclone Tailgate Tour Stop
AMES, Iowa -- Cedar Rapids will be the first stop on the second annual Cyclone Tailgate Tour from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 14 at the Lindale Mall. Iowa State coaches, student-athletes, Spirit Squad and Cy will be on hand. There is no charge for the evening's entertainment. A stop at the Boys and Girls Club of Cedar Rapids will precede the Tailgate Tour stop.

The Cyclone Tailgate Tour also features interactive games and inflatable attractions for kids, door prizes and much more. A short program will begin at 6:30 p.m., while door prizes will be given away throughout the event. Food and Cyclone gear from the Iowa State University Bookstore will be available for purchase as well, making this a night any Cyclone fan will never forget!

"We had a great turnout for our inaugural event last year and we are expecting an even better atmosphere this year," Iowa State director of special events Ryan McGuire said. "The tailgate stops are really family friendly. We enjoyed the presence of so many young Cyclones last year. The entertainment is free, which opens the door to anyone."
