Hello! a couple of Wasatch Mountain/Ames Transplant/Cyclone fans here... planning on going to UNLV game, looking for some information on which (if any) sections in the stadium the cyclone fans are going to be? Ready to buy tickets now... would like to sit with other Cyclone fans!

I have a good feeling that 50% of the crowd or more will be Cyclone fans. It will probably be difficult to find tickets in any section that aren't primarily Cyclone fans at this point

The official sections are 139 & 140 Plus 205-242

But almost any 200 section will be surrounded by cyclones as well because that's where majority of the single game tickets were. I wouldn't be too worried finding ISU fans

You can see the official sections below

I've not done a deep dive on this but cannot understand why we (ISU fans) are paying these ticket prices. We are playing a team that historically has less than 20,000 home attendance in a 65,000 seat stadium. I would bet as it gets closer ticket prices will drop 50%.

Most people are stir crazy and are looking at this as a vacation/missed Fiesta opportunity.

This is their first year in a new stadium (last season was limited to 5k) so we have no idea what they will average.

They are not opening the top section so the real capacity is more like 30-35k.

But yes we're getting gouged. This is more than Bama vs Auburn tickets, more than OSU vs Michigan tickets, more than Clemson vs Georgia tickets. I haven't been able to verify every game yet but it might be the most expensive face value get in the door price of any college football game this year (minus bowls/playoffs).

Thanks, that makes a little more sense.
Side note: I have a nephew that used to live in Vegas and when they were passing the bond for financing this stadium Vega residents could "buy seats" in the stadium. I'm not sure on the exact numbers but I was thinking for $5,000-$7,00 per seat you got first right of refusal to but tickets for those seats at face value for every event forever.

Because it's the premium game of their home schedule. Last year, the get-in for the premium game was listed at $120 (vs. Nevada).

I think sections 206-207 along with sections 128-129 are all cyclone sections to. I think these were the 20+ group ticket sales.

1) No one could go to the fiesta bowl, few people could go to any games in 2020 so this is the consolation prize
2) it's vegas in a nearly brand new $2 billion stadium - not sure how it compares to Jerry's world, but should be on the same level
3) it's as guaranteed of a win as you can get
4) you can plan for it months ahead of time, unlike a bowl game

Also just so you're aware for sections to avoid. 122,123,124 are the student sections. Not sure how many would come since it's kinda far from campus but just a heads up
