Okay, I'm on my morning 30-mile commute to work here in north Texas and I'm thinking about tomorrow's Texas Tech game. Then I see that this car in front of me has a chrome Texas Tech emblem on the back of the car but it's got a gob of bird crap on it that nailed it perfectly. Then I had this idea...

How about an animated Cy that drops bird craps - which come out spinning like little white tornadoes - onto objects like other team's logos, helmets, player's heads, etc. Maybe it could be done similar to the ap called 'Action Movie' which is pretty fun in itself.

So what do you think?... kind of cool or stupid as all get out?

I think it would be really fun as an ap on a smart phone - or even on the big video screens at Jack Trice and Hilton.

Any of you Iowa State techies got the smarts to pull it off and create this? We could split the profits on a new ap - Cy-Poop!

I think I would need to see this first in order to make a judgement.

There's always the option of paying attention to driving.

You have to have a pretty simple mind to not be able to think about other things while safely driving in low to moderate traffic. If it is high traffic you can think about other things while you are stopped staring at the brake lights in front of you.

This reminds me of one time in the early 60's, during a game against Kansas, Cy (in the huge costume) strode out to mid-field during halftime, squatted, and pooped two chickens that had been dyed blue. A mini-chaos ensued. The animal rights people weren't too happy either, apparently they believe that chickens don't like to have a dyed feather-do.

THIS is true. My commute is 30 miles... it takes anywhere from 45-90 minutes.
