    I need help.
This has been annoying me lately. It used to be I could sign in to sites like CF and save my password and I wouldn't have to log in again every time I close the browser. Same thing for Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Now, I have to log in every single time. Is there some sort of setting that was changed?
    Thanks in advance.

Which browser? You must have it set to clear internet information on close out.

I know it's not a porn problem either. It's my work computer.

    Tools>Internet Options
Under the browsing history on the main tab, uncheck the delete browing history on exit if its checked.

Is that something that can be set with group policy since it's a work computer?

I've seen that set as a group policy as well, I believe.

Do me a favor, type this into the blank under Start> Run

    gpupdate.exe /force

then hit enter. Restart your machine. Then go back into the settings to see if its checked again.

So you deleted your browser history to hide the fact that you were looking at porn on the work computer?

What the nerd is trying to say is this may be a group policy and will be reset the next time the policy is updated. This will tell you for sure.

Excellent. No policy is in place it seems. Apparently the problem existed with the user. ;)

Are you using Mozilla and Windows 7? What is your browser/operating system combo? I have one computer that leaves me logged in and the other one boots me after a few minutes of non use.gof
