24 degrees right now in Madison area and feels like 40.

*that's not a 'feels like' from a weather report. It just feels nicer especially with the sun. If it's sunny next week or if it rains, the snow will be gone quickly.

The funny thing is nobody lost their mind. If multiple people are saying you are a bit over the top maybe it isn't everyone else. Take 30 seconds and be self aware. Ffs
The funny thing is reading my first post over, I see nowhere in there that I sound over the top, or angry. I literally just explained an observation that the trend for many people is to go by the feels like temp vs the actual temp. So.... whatever. Move on, I have.

You've posted over 600 words in the 1st 5 pages of this thread complaining about the use wind chills & feel like temps. You're very defensive whenever anyone points out that no, it's not some epidemic of anyone trying to make today's -20 "feels like" temp equate to 1990's "actual" -20 temp..

It's not this huge problem you're making it out to be. I'd argue you didn't mention it as a 'minor annoyance' that you're playing it off as now, as you were pretty adamant that "everyone" only goes by the feels like temp these days.
And every single one of those were replys to other people. I guess I have an issue that I tend to reply to people, just like now.

You know, you could just put me on ignore if you dont like it. Actually please do.

Not Mad Guy is proving he isn't mad by dumbing anyone that finds this chuckle worthy.
You and @Tailg8er have less than 50% reaction scores to posts, so I would assume you are used to having dumbed and negative reaction posts.

If your post is dumb, you get dumbed. And continuing this same convo, is Dumb.

Most on here that have that low of a reaction score usually are trolls and you 2 are proving that is exactly what you are. I mean seriously, you have over 20k posts and a sub 10k reaction score, thats not good. There are hawk fans on here with better scores than you.

Like is said, if you dont like it, you can obviously put me on ignore.

Actually, my reaction score is 58.869%, thank you very much! And if you must know, my life goal isn't to post what I think other people will like so they'll give my post a little emoji ;)

Warmer weather and sunset after 6 PM in central Iowa. So ready for it.

idk why, but this winter feels like it has been an decades long ice age, and it wasn't really that bad until mid January.

Seemed like many more stretches of really cold temps especially compared to the last few years.

I could hear water droplets today from the sun starting the melting process. I'm ready too.

In Minnesota they have been talking about how we got frost depths around 40" which is the deepest it has been in years. I'm glad since it should help to kill off some of the insect pests (beetles, mosquitos, ticks, etc.) which have been getting progressively worse the last few years with mild winters.
