Sounded like Dillon Monz from the tribune. Definitely not uncle randy but he was probably mad he didn’t get to ask that question first.

Of all the things a writer could asked a red shirt freshman in one of his first on camera interviews, I don't think it was appropriate to ask Re-al a question of why he didn't transfer when he got beat out.

The phrasing of the question was basically, a quarterback in your class had a break-out year, why didn't you transfer?

He is here, working hard, getting ready to play. His answer was more professional than the question.

What if something crazy happened where a player just really likes the program and has bought into the greater good concept and just wants to be a part of it?

Curious about the etiquette on this... Are there at LEAST eye rolls from the other guys there? I would have a hard time NOT saying loudly "C'mon man"...

I wish players were able to get after reporters for stupid questions.

Nah handling it professionally is the better route because it magnifies stupid questions rather than making the player look like a jackass

Yeah I get that but I also like things like when the Baylor player a couple of years ago sarcastically explained rebounding to the reporter who asked how the other team outrebounded them.

Re-al is one classy, articulate guy. He is a great leader of the team whether he plays much or not.
