Three things I would love to see in that game:
1. An Iowa State Victory
2. The Paul Rhodes and Gene Chizik handshake
3. The sideline reporter asking Chizik, "So coach, do you regret firing Paul Rhodes when you came to Auburn?"

I don't want to play against a team that almost beat Alabama. Especially against a team that was up on alabama until 1:24 left in the game.
Lopsided expectations not outcomes are okay.
Auburn would be heavily favored in this game. Therefore, Auburn would be expected to win this game easily by their fans. If the upset happened, the Auburn fans could really turn on Chizik.
This game is about as healthy as smoking a pack of cigs, drinking a bottle of Whiskey and having unprotected sex with 5 hookers all on a Friday night. Just saying....They need to not match these two teams up.
We will play an SEC team. Pretty sure all the potential opponents will be bad matchups for us. Tennessee and South Carolina are good teams as well. The bowl game itself is a bad matchup for ISU.
A matchup against Auburn could be great motivation for our players.

1 - It would surprise people how many of our current players still like Chiz and would probably have a harder time getting up for the game than they realize. A lot hate him but it's not every player.
2 - Auburn would most likely put up 50 on us since their strengths are our worst weaknesses.
3 - We'd be lucky to score 10 on their defense that has finally hit their groove.
4 - People need to learn to enjoy our new coach and realize that we still have a LONG ways to go before we should ever "wish" for a matchup with ANY SEC team.

I agree. I don't want us to play the Chiz. I know a lot of people here would like it, but I for one do not want to see Chizik on the same field as ISU ever again. I also don't want him to get the satisfaction of him beating us. It's not worth it. Let's go whoop up on Navy!
That would be a great thing. Iowa State would get noticed every where therefore opening up many doors to better recruits.

It's straightforward: Auburn wins the first quarter. Just hang in through the 1st quarter storm, and Chizik will take care of it from there.
