Nice find, thanks for the bump. Seems like I started the thread only about a month ago -- season has flown past.

I guess missing only 3 of top 10 isn't too bad. Also no real surprise of ISU prediction being off, none of the preseason analysis expected much.

WVU.....goo.

Yeah, WVU has been a bit of a head scratcher this year. I haven't followed their program beyond game day vs ISU stuff I admit. They seem to have been terrible, but then pull off some weird upsets.

I think that Kansas would probably have gotten yet another BigXII championship and easily finished in the top ten (or five) yet again this year if they didn't lose Doke and Vick, so that prediction was pretty good. It's hard to say what will happen to teams when injuries come into play.

The value of (the loss of) Carter and Miles was way under-appreciated. Top that off with some locker room cancers that were eventually booted off the team as they cratered, and then some young talent that finally got their feet under them. Once that happened, I think they got down to business and played as a team.

Big miss on Tech...truly underestimated the value of the grad transfers. Beard is good...don't need Texa$ taking him, although that would bring Tech back to earth. But he did well on the preponderance of picks.

Had to smile about what some of the posters who went off the wheels three weeks ago said at the beginning of the season.
I had us in the top 40 at the start and have felt CSP and players have had a surprising year.

Yeah, the rankings on both ISU and Tech make sense, as the experts know that it is usually difficult to build a highly effective team out of a lot of new players (even really good players).

Yeah given you have to have 50% of games in the Big 12 won and lost, you figure either Tech or Texas will catch fire. Right now it's Tech. Don't need both getting hot.

Texas has hired good coaches in the past and still failed overall. There's something about that program that makes them consistently do less with more. Beard can head there and promptly lose any magic he has found elsewhere. And tech can go back to sucking at everything.
