People ******** about picking up a solid WR, that doesn't have crazy good offers, are the same fans that were praising Medders last year after the Iowa game. Hmmm.....

Hey man, I was the first on the Medders ship two years ago and posters were attacking me saying I was just a fanboy of a guy who would never see the field.

Im not really dissing the kid, if he wants to play for this crappy team, more power to him. Its just sad that we are in a power 5 conference and we can only get recruits who have the majority of their offers from mid majors.

cmjh,
You are not a Cyclone and don't deserve to associate with authentic Cyclone fans. Go find a team where that negative garbage is acceptable...try the Iowa Hawkeyes, seems a much better fit for a guy like you.

Yes......you are dissing him. And you are dissing the Cyclones as well. You suck as a Cyclone fan and as a human being. PLEASE root for another team as you are NOT wanted here. Go away.

6A Oklahoma ball with Jenks. Yes there are some holes with his game but he runs great routes and has speed. It's a good get for yall

Theres enough FBS talent in 6A-4A ball in Oklahoma that can help teams with playmakers/roleplayers. Gotta mine it. I think Epps can develop as a good roleplayer for yall

That sounds like an original recruiting plan from Art Briles. Get guys who can run.

Watched his video, was very impressed! Looks long, catches the ball with his hands, gets great separation, appears to have nice speed!

Wondering why no one else has offered. If mangino likes him, I do too.

Hey, he wants to play for Iowa State, I'll take him. Too many guys out there using Iowa State until a better offer comes along. We want Loyal Sons Forever True right?
What? Just because he committed to us doesn't mean he wants to play for iowa state. We are just his best offer at the moment. Plus, how do you know he won't switch if he does get another offer? I would be willing to bet that if any other team in the big12 offers him, (maybe besides kansas) he would flip. I don't know where any of your post is coming from.

I suppose that you could be right. Did you know that Carson Epps and Denver Johnson (our other wr commit from Oklahoma) are cousins ? Both have stated that they are very excited about being able to play together on the same college football team. Unless some team is going to be able to flip both of these guys, I dpn't think we need to spend much time worrying.

On the flip side (no pun intended), it would seem that if we lose one of these guys, we could lose both if the same team wants to pull in two WRs.

Stormin and Mesa get a little too fired up about criticism of the program. Having said that, I agree that singling out players and recruits just doesn't sit right with me. Most are busting their butts and just want a chance to compete. If they're not Big XII material, that's on the Coaches not the kids. If you put on the Cardinal and Gold and want to play, I will cheer for you. If you are a Coach and aren't evaluating talent or getting the most out of it, I will feel free to criticize you.

No, that is not the reason he's not a Cyclone. Perhaps you should really read what's written before commenting. Let me help in this case. He's not a Cyclone because he overtly denigrated both our program and a recruited player in a manner that was demeaning. First of all, calling the program crappy is neither true nor false...it is simply an opinion. Using that terminology is just a way of hating on the thing I HOPE we all love...Iowa Sate.

So now you know the real reason he's not a Cyclone. Hope that clarifies things for you, though I doubt it.

Looks like a solid commitment to me. His highlights kind of remind me of Bundrage in high school.

So what word would you use to describe the program? Because I think I used a pretty accurate word. Im not going to apologize for wanting more out of this program. Getting to 6 wins on a consistent basis isnt too difficult. They way the program is set up now, we arent going to come close to that for a few years.

But Im not a Cyclone fan because I see stuff for what it is....?

Dumpster Fire. I know that's two words, not one; but it's accurate. As I stated earlier, I've got no problem with an accurate assessment of the program. The coaches are paid good money to steer the program in the right direction, and the results on the field have been on a terrible downward track. 2015 is a make-or-break year for CPR.

I'm just not cool with talking smack about the kids. That's not right.

Curious... what word would you use to describe a program that has only won 5 games in two years?
