My tolerance is pretty up there with light beer and I grabbed myself a 12 pack of this because someone told me it would do the job. Not really thinking much of it..only 6-7 of em in a short period of time had me all over the place. Compared to how many it would take from a regular light beer. I guess my question is does anyone drink this stuff or had it?

The ONLY good thing about Bud Ice was the ad campaign - Beware the Penguins...

I like Bud Ice Light. Last year when I was in Oklahoma they had Busch Light Ice and it was good too. The Ice beers do pack more of a punch so you have to remember it or you could end up getting sneaky wasted.

Bud Ice, 5.5% alcohol. Busch Light (for comparative purposes,) 4.1% alcohol.

6 Bud Ice = 8 Busch Lights from an alcohol intake perspective.

Ice beer is sort of like beer concentrate. It's made by chilling the beer to just under the point where it freezes and skimming the ice off the top.

It's really just Budweiser-branded malt liquor made a little differently. Not really much different than Olde English 800 or Mickey's or Colt 45.

It's stronger than regular beer, but not by much (usually). If you're used to drinking a 12 pack of beer, though, 8-9 so of these would probably produce similar results if you drank it over the same amount of time. The main reason isn't so much the amount of alcohol, but the rate of consumption.

People tend to drink them at the same rate as "less strong" beers, and that ends up getting you drunker faster.

I don't think Keystone Ice tastes any worse than Light. I usually sprung for it just because you got more mileage out of it.

We drank a lot of Natty Ice in the day. Now THAT'S disgusting.

I think my mind is tainted with grossness from Keystone Ice, because the only one I ever drank was luke warm. I have never tasted one since, but I just have the nastiness stuck in my head whenever I think about it.
