Emmanuel Malou, out of Melbourne, Australia, has picked up offers from Kansas and Oregon, with the 6’9 forward’s stock rising at a rapid pace.

Kansas head coach Bill Self was reportedly at YUBA College, yesterday – where Malou currently attends – to meet with the Sudanese-Australian wing, offering him a scholarship in the process.


Today, Malou was visited by Oregon’s Dana Altman and Texas Tech’s Tubby Smith, as both schools look to get involved in his recruitment. Both programs have offered Malou.

Prohm is sticking with his plan he stated when he took the job, getting talent to Ames from High School, Jr. College or Transfer. Fully back SP strategy use all resources to get quality players to Ames. Getting commitment from JC players is even more important with the players that graduate this year.
I still am looking for Prohm/TJ to look to another Transfer/JC post, (Eye to Arlando Cook) to round out the class and have get immediate minutes.

They didn't have Jackson on there until after his commitment, when they did his no ranking brought down the class too until they ranked him. The same will happen with Malou.
