I think you're joining the crowd on that. Is he soft? Can he rebound? Can he defend? Problem is you can ask the same questions of recruits far less talented.

Yeah, I guess you could say the intangibles are a question mark, but the talent is not. What this kid can do at 6'9 is impressive. Reminds me a little of Lamar Odom. Or a taller Clyburn. It will be up to Prohm to get him to reach his potential.

Now I think that they need the JUCO Cook, a FR guard and then save the last scholarship for a transfer.

Way up there
We don't really need a true 5. I think someone like Simeon Carter can play it at 6'8" or even Young at 6'7" and 230 lbs. Nobody really has a true center anymore anyway.

Exactly, before Jameel who was our 5? Georges? Hogue? Ejim? We don't know exactly what CSP will do but in Fred's system Malou could have been the 5, as could either of the guys you mentioned. I am in the camp that thinks Monte will be here next year (if he's not it means ISU had an amazing year so I'll be happy either way), when you look at the 16-17 roster w/ Monte, its already pretty solid. We would be 6 deep in the backcourt and have 3 athletic bigs. We are really just missing one big or a hybrid 3/4 type of guy.

That's Romello or Arlando, let's get this wrapped up.
