He'll get drafted but it won't be in the first round like he would have had he come out last year. He could be a 2nd round steal if drafted into the right situation but with how soft he plays in the post sometimes he's going to have to find an uptempo team that will let him play more on the perimeter.

You must not watch much NBA BB...guys Brackins size in the NBA tend to play small forward or power forward. A very few play post...some actually play guard.

Plenty of 6 10 230 lbs players play post in the nba....rashard lewis is the only small forward i can think of off the top of my head with that size

I will LOL the team that drafts him. NBA worthy... I think not. Let the hate commence.

I agree with you, no hate from me. Never thought he was a lottery pick, ever.

Fizer on the other hand, oh how do I miss him!

With that said, I loved watching Mr. Brackins at ISU. I loved that he seemed to give his best night in and night out (maybe not his last year but it is over and done with). I do hope that one day he will get his shot and prove me wrong!

You must be at least a little crazy, if you are basing his play at ISU on how he will perform in the NBA. Wesley Johnson was a very good players for ISU, and his stats were nearly identical to Brackins, and we didin't win any more with him on the court. Put him on a team that actually runs the floor(similar to the NBA) and has offensive freedom, and he becomes a top 5 pick. I feel sorry for Brackins in that he came to ISU. Almost any other team in the country would have opened up the offense to feature his talent, but McD would have none of it. I could see Brackins exploding in the NBA with the right team. He is a legit 6'-10" athlete. Fizer was 6'-7" on a tall day, and had the work ethic of Jabba the Hut. He was immensely talented, and when Eustachy whipped him into shape he was one of the best players in the game(Compare photos from his sophmore to junior year, there was a big change). Then he went pro, lost his babysitter, gained 20 pounds, and was awful. Brackins has a much better chance at success IMO.

Actually, if you look at the NBA, playing "post" has more to do with body type than height...but most of the guys that immediately come to mind as "post players" in the NBA are 7-0 and taller.

My point is simple...the NBA has a lot of players that are around Brackins' height that are not considered "post players"...Tayshaun Prince, LeBron, Dirk, Tyrus Thomas come to mind right off the bat.

CB is not going to be playing "post" in the NBA. Now that is not to say that he may not occassionally post someone up if the matchup presents the opportunity but they are not going to stick CB in the post.

Chad Ford has him back in the first round in the post lottery mock. Number 25 to Memphis, which has 3 first round picks. Larry Brown can turn him into a star.
