For the blackberry users out there, what Apps do you have, what do you recommend. I'm new to the BB World (Former MS Mobile)

Have you bought one yet? The President-elect has one for sale (some wag has called it a barackberry), the Secret Service won't let him keep it. If you make him a good offer, maybe the President-elect will run through the software for you.

My wife is contemplating a Blackberry for work, but her co-workers have advised not to do it because the e-mail doesn't work well. She's at Drake and to my knowledge they do not have an Enterprise server so it would have to be setup using web client. Has anybody ever had a problem with e-mail via Blackberry and Verizon?

They all think she should get an iPhone after switching from Blackberrys, but I'm very happy with Verizon's coverage. We travel a lot in rural SD, NE and IL and there has never been a problem. I know AT&Ts network is ok, but I don't think it's as good as Verizon's.

Do they use MS Exchange? The Outlook Web Access setup for blackberry has been pretty flawless for me.

I had the World Edition and loved it. Just got the Storm. It sucks. Typing on it is stupid-hard. Going to switch back.

I went from the Curve to the Storm. I hated the typing on the Storm for about a week but now I am used to it and am nearly as fast on it as I was on the Curve. The other benefits of the Storm for personal usage outweigh the negatives for me so I am very happy thus far, just looking forward to the next OS update.

I also have a Verizon Curve for sale if anyone is looking for one. Has a few love marks on it from my clumsiness but still in good shape.

I have a Curve. Download Opera for your browser (www.opera.com, I think). I got "MobileMe" for mobile IM, something called VibAndRing (that makes it so your phone vibrates and rings simultaneously, instead of waiting), then got Bubble Popper and Spider Solitaire for free.

Angie - please stop. You can't be talking about curves and vibrators with all the lonely cyclone fans on here.

There is a new browser beta out that I have played with a bit and so far like it much better than Opera mini. They are giving out 2500+ free invites at this site
Bolt Browser - Download

Use Code "crackberry"

Also make sure you read the instructions before clinking on any of the links they give you, once you click one they all become dead. For Blackberry's you have to use the last of the 4 links they send you, it is the unsigned version.

Did you find that the back button works for you? Mind doesn't and really makes using that browser a pain.

I do like the zoom on the pages versus Operas. I get a bigger scope of the page while still being able to read everything.

Last I heard and the last time I tried the Yahoo Go app wasn't ready for the Storm yet.

On a side note the Slacker.com radio app is now available for the storm.

crackberry.com forums will have a ton of apps listed or if you do a search on here there have been a few different threads where people listed the apps they like.
