Just curious...I saw a large billboard in Clearwater today while I was down there for business with Iowa State football on it. Seemed like an odd thing to see, I doubt there can be that many Iowa St fans in Clearwater. Is that a rich alum's way of having fun?

Nothing wrong with it at all, I was just surprised to see it.

Good luck this season, maybe we'll see you in the national championship.

That does seen odd. Any chance that you can get a picture of it? I'm sure that we would all love to see it.

Thanks for posting! Hang around, get to know us, we'd love to hear about your insights into East Coast football!

I'm back in the DC area now but I go down that way a lot, next time I'm there I'll stop and take a picture.

Definitely struck me as odd, but it was quite large and right off of 60-East which is one of their main highways, so lots of people see it.

Chizik is from Clearwater and I beleive Hooters headquarters is there too...

That's correct - for WVU's reference, Hooters was founded by an ISU grad. I'm guessing he had a hand in putting up the billboard. The fact that it's the head coach's hometown doesn't hurt either

Now that makes sense.

There's an alum to be proud of...your very own Hugh Hefner.

Ed Droste is one of the Hooters founders, and yes, he had a hand in putting the sign up.

That is awesome. Glad to see proud ISU alums supporting the school. Also, if it is legal, I don't have a problem with people making money. Besides, I think most of the waitresses look like they enjoy wearing those uniforms. Or maybe I enjoy it? Hmmmmm.........
