Like the people that ***** that going to Drake and UNI is too tough and too unfair for ISU?

I like the test that road games to those 2 places provides. I only went to one of those games but I think it was good for the team even though we often laid an egg.

I have no problem with the event at WF but I will never go if forced to pay for two games.

Walters said there were over 3000 tickets available on the coach's show last night. He also said they were "going quickly". We've been able to buy them for months between four fanbases and there are over 3k left? Honestly unless this thing sells out it seems like a total waste. Plus, ISU/Drake is on a station probably less than half the people have. Luckily I'll be able to hear Walters' sweet crooning on the radio.

Then you get to laugh at them after they lose to UNI. Then let's just hope we don't lose to Drake after that.

I have my Cyclone shirt and UNI hat ready to go. I know a lot of UNI fans that are going and they hate Drake so there will be a lot of people cheering against the Hoks

Laughing at a team that just **** pounded us is a bit...laughable.

With ISU's new deal with Mediacom, will the ISU/Drake be made available on Cyclones.TV?

IIRC both Pollard and Walters said things would still be shown on cyclones.tv for non Mediacom people.

I believe this game was picked up by Mediacom before the deal between Mediacom and ISU was finalized, so I'm not sure if that make a difference at all.

Even though it really didn't mean much of anything.....still kind of too bad that the "mythical" state championship won't exist any more.

I will be cheering for UNI.....not just because it is Iowa, but because Tuttle is from my old high school.

Are you sure? Everything I see shows just audio, no video.

Yeah, I just checked and Cyclones.com currently it only has a link for radio and only cites Mediacom for TV.
Maybe just an oversight?

Intersting that it lists both Cyclones.tv/Mediacom for the New Years Day Yale game.

These are not home games for ISU nor are they home games for Iowa, UNI or Drake. It is not a slam dunk that ISU has the rights to put these on cyclones.tv. There is a possibility that the teams will alternate having rights to the games, for example ISU and Iowa having rights odd years and Drake and UNI having rights even years. Or, they could jointly sell the rights to another party like Mediacom.

First Row Sports might be an option.

Just want to put my vote in the "the ticket prices are keeping me away" crowd. I have gone to a lot of the UNI and Drake road games in the past and always hated paying their horribly inflated prices of around $30. When I saw the prices they were demanding for this atrocity I said no way in heck.

That's where I'm at. I'm not paying for a ticket to Iowa-UNI. I really do have things to do and things to spend money on. I'm not spending it on that game.
